Project Overview

We worked with Tutored By Teachers to automate and streamline their new teacher onboarding process across the tools their team already used.

Rather than introducing another standalone system, we designed an integrated automation solution that connected their existing platforms and moved onboarding data between them automatically.

Using Zapier as the automation layer, we created a workflow that tracked onboarding progress, validated required steps, and updated downstream systems once each teacher completed the process.

The Challenge

Tutored By Teachers' onboarding process involved multiple steps spread across different systems. As hiring volume increased, this created several operational challenges:

  • Onboarding progress had to be checked manually
  • Information was being passed between systems by hand
  • Required steps could be missed or delayed
  • The internal team spent significant time coordinating and verifying completion
